Salary Range: $55,000-$60,000 annually

Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Post Closing Specialist to support one of our clients in downtown Baltimore, MD. This role is critical in ensuring loan files are finalized accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and investor standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a deadline-driven mortgage environment, demonstrates strong follow-up skills, and works collaboratively across lending and secondary market teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound phone calls with external partners, including title companies and attorneys
- Collaborate closely with the Loan Processing team to support compliance and operational efficiency
- Communicate with title companies via email to obtain outstanding trailing documents
- Track, log, and maintain receipt of trailing documents in Salesforce and save to All Loans File (ALF)
- Create and record assignments of mortgage and related documentation
- Monitor, track, and clear post-closing exceptions in a timely manner
- Upload completed loan files and required data to secondary market buyers and warehouse lenders
- Prepare and submit loan packages to custodians and coordinate exception resolution
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the mortgage industry, with a strong preference for post-closing experience
- Working knowledge of mortgage loan documentation and post-closing processes
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience with bridge loans or real estate investment loans is not required but considered a plus.
